You can feel so lonely in your thoughts, but every heavy thing that has ever crossed your mind I guarantee you is in here- and I found a lot of conformt in that. This book is one that I will forever cherish and keep going back to. I don't think I've cried so much, not because I was sad, but relieved. It's a quick read, yet I took my time to read it so I could really savor and enjoy everything this book had to offer. These poems were obviously written from experience and I could relate to almost every single one. Samantha King is a very good writer. Highly recommend this! This poem does seem more like journal entries or a diary of a girl. Some good stuff; otherwise, short and somewhat, these relation to love seems cliche. At least to me it did. The poems literally speak to you and enlighten every area of your emotional process. My only regret is that I didn’t buy this book sooner! I was standing in the poetry section of a bookstore when two young girls approached and started browsing the shelves. I reached up, took a copy of this book off the shelf, handed it to them, and said, "It's a bit depressing but well worth reading." They read for a minute, and then walked off to purchase the book.
